Who we are
Novus Group (“Novus,” “we,” “us”) is an AI software development and consulting company based in Alexandria, Louisiana. We collect only what we need to talk with you and to do the work our clients hire us for.
This policy covers our website at novusgroup.ai and our client agent at agent.novusgroup.ai.
What we collect
When you contact us. The contact form on our website asks for your name, email address, country, phone number, and a description of what you need help with. We receive it as an email. We also see your IP address, which we hold in memory for up to an hour to stop the form being abused — it is not stored.
When you use the Novus agent. The agent at agent.novusgroup.ai is a guided discovery interview for prospective and current clients. To use it you sign in with your email address, which we keep as your account identifier. During the interview you may tell the agent about your company, your team, your tools, your goals, and your constraints. We store that conversation, the notes the agent records from it, and the documents it produces for your engagement (requirements, specifications, diagrams).
When you visit the website. We use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site — pages visited, how you arrived, your browser and device type, and general location. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell returning visitors apart; Cloudflare’s does not. We also set one cookie on a password-protected demo page, to remember that you entered the password. We do not run advertising pixels. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
How we use it
- To reply to you and to schedule conversations
- To run the agent interview and produce the engagement documents you asked for
- To follow up about our services when you have shown interest
- To understand how the website is used, in aggregate
- To keep our systems secure and to meet our legal obligations
We do not use your information for anything else without telling you first.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run these systems, and only so they can do that:
- Resend — delivers contact-form submissions and agent notification emails
- Clerk — handles sign-in to the agent
- OpenRouter — routes the agent’s conversation to an AI model to generate its replies. The content of your interview is sent to the model provider to produce each response.
- Braintrust — logs the agent’s model calls, including conversation content, so we can review quality and fix problems
- Render — hosts the website, the agent, and its database
- Google Analytics and Cloudflare — website analytics
Each provider may use your information only to provide its service to us. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Novus, our clients, or others.
Client data
When we build software or AI systems for a client, we may handle data belonging to that client and its customers. That data is covered by our written agreement with the client, not by this policy. We use it only for the work we were hired to do and treat it as confidential.
How long we keep it
Contact-form messages stay in our email. Agent engagement data — your account email, conversations, notes, and documents — is kept while we work with you and deleted when you ask us to delete it. Analytics data is aggregate and not tied to you.
How we protect it
Data is encrypted in transit, stored on access-controlled infrastructure, and reachable only by the Novus team. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organizational steps to keep your data safe.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email janson@novusgroup.ai and we will respond within a reasonable time; we may need to confirm your identity first. Depending on where you live, state privacy law may give you additional rights.
Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
When we update this policy we will change the date at the top.
